I currently have a 2610 for car travel, a 60CS for hiking and biking -- I'm
think if getting a nuvi this year for a better road biking GPS and for a
smaller unit when I fly to places and rent cars

I own numerous garmin map software and worry about getting another unit due
their 2 unit limit on unlock codes

This kept me from buying a quest 2 for biking and fly\rent travel

is this a real issue that can be over come??

you would think garmin would allow owners to use their software on any
number od unit they buy

The Quest 2 comes preloaded with City Select maps. So the 2 unit limit
on your other software is irrelevant/a non-issue.

Some map vendors only let you use the purchased maps on one unit. It's
not an ideal situation, but it coul dbe worse.
