Legend C --> How to remove detailed map data...?

| I mistakenly installed wrong mapsource product on my Legend C (metroguide
instead of city select). Now i would like to remove the detailed map from
the unit. How should i do that.?

I really can't understand how a question could be considered marriagable!
However, just try installing the correct map - that will solve your problem.

I don't know if the method on the "C" is the same as my B&W Legend,
but try going into "Map Setup" on the map page and unchecking the maps
you don't want.

That just hides it. The map memory is cleared each time you upload a new
map-set. So you have to upload ALL the maps you want, not just the new
ones, since all previously loaded maps are erased.

That will not remove it, just make it invisible .. since you can make it
visible again by restoring the checks.
To remove a load of data, you just need to load a new set. If no maps
in that set, all loaded maps will be overwritten with nada.
