Hello,

I have a Vista C and now also a Vista Cx. I'm a bit disappointed to see
that my Vista Cx takes a lot more time to get its first position.
eg: if I use both GPSr at the same time for 1 hour (clear sky
conditions), and then I stop both, wait 30s and restart both, here are
the results :
* vista C => acquisition time = 10s
" vista Cx => acquisition time = more than 1 minute

WAAS is disabled for both receivers...

I tried a hard reset on both to compare, but it's still the same.

Does anybody else have the same problem ?

I also noticed that the Vista Cx has lower precision under tree cover
compared to the Vista C.
Weird, isn't it ?

Thanks for your help...

Could he tell me his values for acquisition time with his vista Cx ?

This is what I have now that I collected almanac :

* cold start :
Vista C =3D 40s
Vista Cx =3D 80s

* warm start :
Vista C =3D 10s
Vista Cx =3D 50s
