viewing area maps on c330?

| Is it possible to look at the map of a particular area on the C330
without setting a route start and finish? I would like to be able to
view details of an area to see if I can set an intersection etc. I have
encountered some spots that are not recognized by the program even
though they appear on regular maps and programs such as street atlas
2004. Any help will be appreciated.

| Try using the 'goto' function to the town you wish to look at, say 'no' to
simulating the route, then choose 'show map'
That should work

I was told that you can't save a "route" on the 330. Can I set up a
route on MapSource Waypoint Manager and access it on my c330? Any help
would be appreciated. (I've loaded the v.8 maps to my GPS)
Thank you.

| No, you can't. These units don't accept routes from external sources.
