Do NOT use WebUpdate. Several people has lost all their map and need to
send it back yo the dealer.

Always take a backup before you make a firmware update.
Copy all files including hidden one to your PC.

Download the "unit software" from here:

Run and install

I have just bought a Garmin nüvi 660 and want to check for updates.
Unfortunately the WebUpdater (version 2.40) is unable to establish
connection to the GPS. I have tried on 2 different computers running
Windows XP Pro SP2 and Windows XP Home Edition SP2. Is this problem
known and do someone know a workarround.
