I recently purchused a I Que 3200 from a friend of a friend and was told
that it was new, ( only paid $250.00) but when i tryed to load the software,
it asked me for my code. I didn't have a code, so I called Garmin and they
told me that for $135.00, they would give me the code to load the software,
Apparently the previous owner registered the unit, but never loaded the
software, I then tryed to contact the previous owner and he said that HE
didn't have any code and didn't know what I was talking about. Now do I pay
the $135.00 for the code and end up with a unit I couldv'e bought at the
store (or on line) for the same price and have been using it, or do I accept
my lose and concider it a learning experience, any help would be greatly
appreciated

I'd say you should get your money back from the seller, who seems to
have misrepresented the unit to you.

The code is on a small yellow sheet of paper which I think is inside the CD case. Two users can be registered.

Hello Neryl,

Isn't it two units?

And can't the owner retreive the code so it can be reused?
