Hi all,

The warranty on my i3 is just about to expire and true to form, it's
started to play up.

1) When booting up, often sticks at the white "please use the PC
software..." screen and I have to remove and re-insert the map card.
Often takes many attempts, sometimes doesn't work at all.

2) Often takes a long, long time to find the satellites. Almost
unusable sometimes...

It *was* OK when new, and is in the same place in the same vehicle as
it always has been. Garmin support have advised a factory reset. Are
they fobbing me off, or is it likely to help?
