City Navigator:
Full-featured road navigation map. Today intended for all Garmin's
autorouting capable navigators, from the StreetPilot 7500 to the Legend
C.

City Select:
Subset of the City Navigator maps. Primarily intended for small car
navigators, with small map memories, like the GPS V. This map product
is discontinued.

Metroguide:
Aimed at mapping receivers without autorouting capability, like the
eTrex Vista. Does not provide autorouting in the GPS unit itself (with
some exceptions).

Waypoint manager:
Is exactly that. Handles waypoints for units which can't show any road
map at all, and where the full Mapsource map handling software and maps
cost more than it gives.
