| I'm thinking of getting the C320 and then buying a 1GB SD card
Can i buy the SD cards wherever i want?
Do i need to purchase maps extra for the 320?
How big an SD card can each take? Whats the usefull max size (as opposed to
the actual max size capability)?
I cant see any benefit of C330 over C320 - what say ye?
My Usage:
Travel around US (Maine to Calif, & Fla to WA) and into
Canada(Toronto,Montr
eal, Quebec and possibly Halifax/Sydney/NF-island area)
Thanks

I bought the C320 because I figured the continual exposure to heat, cold
and vibration would eventually break the internal hard drive of a C330.
Plus the C320 was cheaper. I believe that all of North America will fit
on a 1GB card but never tried.

Why do you think the C330 has a hard drive? There is no mention of it in the
specs, the spec says it uses an SD card, the

The 330 is just preloaded with the maps

I bought the c320 and 1gb card. Loaded all of NA on it and have been
using it since July traveling most of the east coast. I did send off for
the free updated map cd since the old one came with my unit. 1 gb cards
are very cheap now.

The specs a year or so DID mention a 2GB drive. You're right, they don't now.
But that doesn't mean is doesn't have one.
I put all USA and CA on a 1GB card and there is still some space, enough for
Mexico-?

The C330 does use an internal hard drive. That is how the maps are
preloaded. It does came with a SD card slot like the C320 but the maps
are preloaded on an internal harddrive.
