re-unlocking legal MapSource problems. Help needed

| Hello
I own a Nuvi 350 Europe and I bought last Sept DVD City Navigator NT 8 North
America (Holiday next year)
Both products are registered on "my Garmin"
At that time I unlocked the Mapsource on my Desktop and on my laptop without
any problems.
Desktop crashed and I installed new harddrive and XP.
Tried to re-unlock Mapsource on the desktop via Garmin website. I choose the
possibility to unlock it with the unlocks nbrs on the Garmin-site.
The answer I get in the menu is that the Map is now unlocked succesfully.
But is not!

If I choose other possibilities the menu comes up with "the Mapsource is
already unlocked" (which is true)

Did sent same question to Garmin USA, but got no answer.
Who can help me out??

What behavior do you see that suggests that the product is unlocked?

Hello
this is what happens:
======= pls remember that the wording might differ from what you see on yr
usa-version. I translated the text from Dutch into English==
In MapSource I go to the Unlock Wizard.
Then I choose "Look for my Garmin unlockkeys and install them again.
Then: Look for my Unlockkeys on the Garmin Server.
I log in "My Garmin"
After that I het the screen ( in the Mapsource unlock software) which says:
"the unlock keys are installed"
Then I close but the Map remains locked, also after restarting.

This makes me suspect you are entering a lock code for a map product
you don't have installed, rather than the one you think you have installed.
What do you get when you select "view my installed lock codes" from the
unlock wizard?
What products are listed when yo go to "Help -> About MapSource..." and
select "Product Info..."?

In "view my installed lock codes" I see only my Nuvi 350 with the Unlockcode

In help About of the Mapsource I see only City Navigator North America NT v8

I fixed it. As I mentioned earlier I unlocked the maps also on my laptop.
Going through the menu of the unlockwizard I could retrieve the unlock nbr
from the laptop.
Keyed that in the desktop and it was fixed
