I am driving throughout the USA, staying in hotels, and need to upgrade
my City Navigator NA NT from v7 to v8. I called Garmin and they are out
of stock. I cannot give them a fixed address because I keep on driving.
I am currently in Boston, soon on my way to Texas.
Is there a generous and compassionate soul out there who can send me
that DVD?
P L E E E A S E ?
Notice that this is not a copyright issue, as I will get the necessary
keys from Garmin.

I am willing to pay, but not sure about how to do it.

There are a lot of brick-and-mortar retailers who sell Garmin map
products. Even Wal*Mart carries them. It shouldn't be too hard to
find one of those.
Cheers,

But he's not going to get v8 at the upgrade price from one of those
outlets.

The City Navigator v8 upgrade (the unlock key) is just $75 from Garmin.

| Yes, but if you buy the product at a normal retailer, then you get the
full product, at a substantially higher cost, not just an upgrade.
Besides, since you are already in the area for which you want maps,
they typically will sell it bundled with automotive kits and stuff,
rising the cost even more.
What this fellow needs is (a copy of) the free upgrade DVD, then buy
the codes from Garmin.
