60csx-how does the barometer work?

| Does the unit need to be powered up to record pressure trends over
time? If so, can the pressure be recorded powered up but with gps
function switched off. Like inside the home at night!

The CSx60 has its own pressure measuring chip and has the functon "plot
barometer"
