The compass pointer on my new 60CSX keeps disappearing and I have to
turn the compass off and back on in order to get the pointer back.
This is while I am doing an off road go to geocache. My 60CS never
did that.
It seem like it may happen when I have it hanging on my neck and the
unit is vertical instead of horizontal like you must hold it for the
compass to be accurate.
Anyone know the reason for this?

Go to menu>setup>heading

Play around with the 'switch to compass heading' and the time. I use
99km/h and 5s.
