Routes from PC to 7200

| HI gang,
I am waiting on the purchase of the new 7200 until I find that people are
able to program their routes on the PC and somehow download them into the
7200.
Has anyone figured out how to do this yet?

| I have read here that when you buy the 7200, you can contact Garmin, and
they will send you the PC map software at no charge, if this is true, then
surely someone will figure out how to download maps to the Garmin 7200 from
the PC.

This is the case with the 2730. It's reasonable to assume that it is the
case with the 7200. You can always email and ask them in advance.

Yes, it's done the same way as most other Garmin units.

If you buy it from us we'll include it with your unit if you request it.

There is no reason or may not even be possible to download the maps from
the software that Garmin or us would send you as it's already loaded onto
the unit. Loading other MapSource maps is no problem.

want to download, I didn't mean to say I wanted to download maps.
