Garmin StreetPilot 2620 Automotive GPS Navigation System (Refurbished)

| I am giving some consideration to buying a refurbished Garmin StreetPilot
2620 Automotive GPS Navigation System from an online dealer Catskill Deals
Inc.
http://www.catskilldeals.com/garmin...ed-p-11705.html
My questions are:
-is the Garmin StreetPilot 2620 a pretty good unit (what I have seen online
is pretty positive)?
-what kind of warranty on a refurbished product, or does it vary from dealer
to dealer?
-is Catskill Deals Inc a reliable dealer?
I know that I want a Garmin automotive GPS that is capable of multiple
destination routing. That narrowed the choices to: Quest 2, 2610, 2620,
2720, 2730, 7200, and 7500. I eliminated the 7200 and 7500 because of
their cost and a screen that big would be too much in a Dodge Stratus. I
have ruled out the Quest 2 because I don't think its screen would be big
enough. And the price difference between the 2610 and 2620 has made me not
consider the 2610 because the 2620 is ready to go out of the box. With that
leaving the 2620, 2720, and 2730 I have started to look closer at other
features and prices and I think that I would like the 2730, but it looks to
me that the only features that I would use on the 2730 over the 2620 and
2720 is XM radio. Also, I would probably like the tst to speech of the 2720
and 2730 over the 2620, but again at a siginificant additional cost. Are
there any other factors that anybody here can suggest that I ought to be
considering?

Consider that the 2620 has a built in hard drive that is very susceptible
to vibration. This rules it out for use on a motorcycle, for example. Also
you do not get the MapSource software for planning routes on a PC before
downloading to the unit. The 2610 uses CF cards, a 2GB one will easily
hold maps for all of the US or Europe, depending on your location.
For my money, the 2610 wins hands down over the 2620 and even the later
units. XM radio is a gimmick if you ask me. I certainly have no need for
it.

On a GPS unit, perhaps. But overall?
Try it. See what you think.

The displays on the 27x0 series are much, much better than the 26x0
series. By leaps and bounds. And the support for proximity alerts/
POIs is very nice.
I don't find the TTS to be that useful or helpful. I use the audio
features (XM, MP3) a lot more than I thought I would.
Cheers,
