GPMSMAP76cs Max elevation

| Ok - I use to have a Max elevation data field - now I don't.
I (think) I have looked at all of the available data fields on all of the
screens but cannot find it. Have RTFM (read the flimsy [yeah - right]
manual) and cannot find how to get it...
Any ideas?
I like that field when both driving and snowmobiling. Kayaking might mean
less (try to avoid those waterfalls!!)

Try the Altimeter page and look among the available choices for
"Elevation-Maximum". My 76CS running Firmware 4.00 has it there.
It isn't available on any of the other pages that I checked: Map,
Compass, Trip Computer. I've noticed that there are some other
fields that are available on the other pages, but not on the altimeter
page. I wish Garmin would just make all of the fields available for
all of the pages and let *us* decide what should be displayed on a
particular page. Guess I ought to write to them about that.

| Yup - That was it!
Max Ele was the only thing I used on that page so I got rid from the page
from my page sequence. I was sure I could add it to the Trip Computer page -
That would be too useful!
