Mapsource will not work

| I had everything working great and I had to screw it up. I have two drives
partitioned in 6 drives and when installing all my software I ended up
having some all over the place. This weekend I decided I would uninstall
everything and start over again and try and get it on one drive. Now when I
click on mapsource icon I get a message that I have an error in mapsource
registry. Is this the window registry and how do I fix my problem. It said
to reload mapsource and restart, tried it about 8 times and no improvements.
Thanks to anybody that can give me a helping hand.

You have to reinstall not only Mapsource but any MapSource products
(City Select etc.) otherwise MapSource doesn't know where to find them
and the error you quote occurs.

Take a look in your windows registry. The entries can be found here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\S
OFTWARE\Garmin\MapSo
urce\Families
Be very careful whenever you open the registry.
If you make any changes, be sure that you have a backup of you registry
- just in case.
