Likely not selectively. But you should be able to use the Find function
and specify Fuel Service or some such and list of nearby stations will
be displayed. You can select one and the unit will route you to it.
All this assumes you have maps loaded with that information, of course.

I've not used either. But at this time they work only with Windows OS;
Mac later this year.
You can do updates without Webupdater (I did just yesterday). And I
think POI Loader works with only certain units (don't know if yours is
one or not)

Yes, it is......
POI keeps asking for a svc file which it hasn`t got and Web Updater asks for
a SHELL32.DLL which that hasn`t got either...... :-/
Thanks Phil.

OK. I suspect that is because you are zoomed in pretty far. Depending
on how the 310 is set up, you likely can set the amount of detain from
Least to Med to Most. But it may show everything, not just petrol
stations .. unless the 310 gives you the option of showing only one
class of POI.

SHELL32.DLL is likely a Windows dll element that is peculiar to what
version you have. You can find it on the install CD or (usually easier)
copy it from another machine running the same version .. or maybe even
download it from the internet. Depending on the version, it will go in
some directory like c:\Windows\system32 .. but that varies with Win version.
Likely the file missing for POI is a similar deal.

How can you get updates without WebUpdater ??
[color=darkred]
for[color=darkred]
I`ve figured the .svc thing as being a file downloaded for POI to install so
that proggie is probably working, but WebUpdater tells me that
`WEBUPDATER.EXE is linked to missing export SHELL32. DLL:SHGetFolderPathA
`.
I have a lower case shell32.dll in system files but trying to remove it
tells me it is in use by windows.... :-/
I`m completely flummoxed........

Just download the update file from a list and follow the instructions
On the right side of this page
http://www.garmin.com/products/webu...owtoinstall.jsp
it has a link to 'Show all updates and downloads' here:
http://www.garmin.com/support/blosp.jsp
where you can download files without Webupdate (which I've never
bothered to install)

Upper case and lower case don't matter: shell32.dll is the file.
The issue may be in the 'SHGetFolderPathA' part of the error msg. You
might try copying (do not move!) shell32 to the directory Webupdater is in.
