Garmin Quest loosing coverage

| I have a Garmin Quest 1, European version, 1 year old, that have some
problems with the antenna. It has a flip antenna that can be placed in three
different operating positions. If I leave the antenna in a position it
frequently happens that the unit looses coverage. By flipping the antenna to
another position and then back coverage is immediately restored. I wonder if
anybody else has experienced this, and if this is a software or hardware
fault. The Quest uses firmware version 3.70, the latest and Norwegian
language.

No problem like that on my Quest with 3.70 - well over a year old. I'd say
you have a intermittent connection to the antenna. Return it to Garmin for
repair - hopefully still under warranty.
