Opening up a Garmin Foretrex 201

Has anyone successfully opened the case for Garmin Foretrex 201 without
damaging the clips that hold it together? Mine is leaking at the LCD
crystal, and I'm guessing that it need sealant at the crystal-plastic
junction. It is out of it's one year warranty if I could take it apart, I
could repair it for a lot less than the $69 out of warrant flat rate repair.
