Garmin 2720 recalculating often

I just got a 2720 and compared to my old Streetpilot III, this unit
recalulates to a point of being annoying. It is fine on the open
highway but on side streets it seems to miss the fact i just turned and
it very quickly decides to recalculate. The Streepilot 3 allow you to
be more offcourse before it recalculated.

I don't see any setting in the unit to change the way this works other
than making the fact that is it recalculating silent.

Have others noticed this kind of problem?
