Just picked up my new Legend Cx - quite excited. Searched the boards
high and low and Googled the crap out of 'carrying cases' - does a nice
silicone case exist like the iSkin products for the iPods? All I seem
to find is the one from Gilsson or the OEM Garmin carrying case. Any
other case suggestions for keeping the unit looking nice?

Also - spoke with Garmin today, and perhaps this is old news, but they
are 'releasing' City Navigator NA v8 in 'a few weeks', product
available 'a few weeks' after that. Ask if they would upgrade me for
free if I bought v7 now, they said 'probably.' I don't like
'probably'. I think I'll wait.

I use a Lowenpro digital camera case (Style/Size: D-pods 20) for my Legend C
It attaches to your belt and is easy to open. It is stretchy so it fits the
GPS very well.
I also put a plastic insert inside this case so the button does not always
get activated.
It also allows you to put a spare set of batteries beween the insert and
this case.

You may also want to attach a short cord between GPS and the loops on the
back of the case
so the GPS is not unknowing lost or fall from your hand.
