I was looking at the GpSMap 478.

It comes preloaded with all US coastal areas plus City Select! If I were
to buy all of the areas on my Blue Chart CD with my 176. I would assume
it would cost much more than the $1285 asking price of the total kit.
How are they doing it so cheaply? Don't they have to pay MapTech for
these charts?
