Yup, and are you only going to use it in a car or will you

Handheld is a nice-to-have but not a requirement. Auto only. I'll be a
long way from any body of water. The main requirement is I want to be
able to purchase it here in the US (price) but it MUST be able to take
maps outside the US. The entire continent of Australia, to be specific.
Since GPS is satellite based, I'm assuming there'll be no problem using
it in the Australian outback - the reason I want one. Not many roads,
easy to get lost. Very, very lost. :)
