I have noticed the warning interval for making a turn is often too short on
my 76CSx. I'm locked on the road and drining at normal highway speeds. The
GPS accuracy will be ok at 15-20 feet, but the distance to intersection
seems to lag just enough to make the prompt for turn approaching to be a
little too late. Has anyone else noticed this issue or know of a fix?

I have a 60C and found the same when I had too many maps on at the same
time. If you've got the basemap and other maps enabled at the same
time, try turning one or more off to see if that helps.

What a lot of people don't realize is that the maps don't complement
each other. In fact in many circumstances, they compete and prevent
detail you want from showing so only enable the maps you want at any
time.

In case that's not clear, in my case I have the basemap, enhanced
basemap, City Select and Metroguide Canada. If I enable all at once, I
get a real mess where the GPS doesn't know what to do and is constantly
recalculating to find a route.
