Use GPS in northern Italy?
|
|
|
| Hi!
I'm just about to buy a GPS for hiking in the alps and Dolomites and swedish
forests.
Maybe one of these: GARMIN GPSMAP 60CSX or MAGELLAN EXPLORIST 600.
I live in Sweden and here is a lot of good maps for these models.
But where can I buy or download hikin-maps for use in Italy (and central
Europe)?
Thanks!

Check out this site. At least you'll have topo maps. But it's Garmin
specific. In any case, you can't go wrong with Garmin GPSMap60CSx.
