Author Problem with TOPO profile in Mapsource 6.13.5

Can anybody confirm that the latest version of Mapsource screws up the
profile of routes, using US Topo? On my computer, the general shape of the
profile is OK but the Y axis (elevation) is just 0 - 10 ft even in hilly
areas and there appear to be large sections of the profile that are
horizontal.

Works OK for me, based on a couple of quick tests in Virginia. I'm on
Mapsource 6.13.4, however the older US Topo, v 3.0.2.

Working fine with MapSource 6.13.5 and US Topo 2008 here.

Sorry, I misread, thought 6.13.5 was a typo (the Garmin web updater said I
was at the latest level AND the Garmin web site showed that 6.13.4 was the
latest version, however when I clicked on the link it showed version
6.13.5).

So at any rate I installed 6.13.5 and YES with the older US Top maps I get
screwed up profiles. Basically the same thing you reported, in my case a
max of about 2. It looks like they might be dividing the altitude by 1000
and then rounding off to an integer.

Mine works fine with MapSource 6.13.5 and the old USTopo. Elivations are
accurate as far as I can see. I have the new Topo on order.
