I have City Navigator N. America v5 on my older 2610 and it works
well, I want to upgrade in order to get the newer streets. I have
noticed there is a "City Select N. America Update DVD v7." Is this
doable, will it upgrade my v5 to v7?
Thanks for your time

Certainly, but why stop with V7? The current iteration of this mapset
for the 2610 is City Navigator North America 2008. Do NOT buy the one
that has "NT" in the title. That's for the newer units.

Call or e-mail Garmin and they should send you the update DVD for free
and then charge you $75.00 to unlock it for your unit.
