I found some applications, which synchronize photos and tracks and I
wonder if similar applications exist to synchronize a heart rate monitor
with tracks in order to analyze how my heart beat responds to a steep
hill or how it correlates with my running speed.

Look into Garmin's series for fitnes, or Suunto's. I am pretty sure what
you want there.
