SD Card for Nuvi 650

| Can anyone recommend a good SD card for a Nuvi 650? Does it make any
difference, or does any make/model/size/etc. work OK?

It may make some difference to someone, but to me NO I use what most
people use and recommend (by reading), and so far I haven't had any problem
with any brand of CF, and SDHC I only have one card and it's Transend 8GB
Class-6 and my Nuvi 680 seems happy with it.

You need a micro sd card.Read the paperwork.It has to be a special
size micro.They have micro and mini SD cards now.

Please direct me to the paperwork. Page 20 of my nüvi 650 Owners Manual
just says "SD card". No mention of a micro SD card.
And a regular size SD card fits fine into my nüvi 650. :)

measure the card slot you will find it 24mm or 15/16in wide. I have a
nuvi 650 with a standard 24mm wide SD card.

| Just a standard SD card ... not mini or mico.
I use SanDisk, but there are plenty of others. Goto Best Buy and pick one.
Not sure about the 4 gig cards, or SDHD (???). Think this means high
density but not sure ... we had some problems as not all SD devices can use
the 4 gig card, have not tried with my 650 or 750.

My apologies It is the 650 you asked about.Any SD card will work.I
have the 650 and the 6 CSx

My apologies I sent a retraction but it didn`t seem to get to the
site.I was confusing the nuvi 650 with the 60csx.I own both
..sorry..yes a standard sd card works.

8 GB card? I was told by Garmin that 4 GB was the maximum card I could
use with my new 660.
