I've received a gpsmapper 60csx unit for xmas and was wondering if it's
possible to grab data from a streetpilot 330 unit?
Thanks,
Rob

What do you mean by "grab data"? If you mean detailed
street maps, then the answer is no. If you mean tracks,
routes and waypoints, then you should be able to load that
data from the old unit into mapsource, save it, and then
download that data to the new one, but for maps, it requires
an unlock key for the new hardware.

And it also requires the mapping be installed on a PC, processed
(including the unlock Steve mentions), and uploaded to the 60CSx.

The mapping you have on a C330 cannot be used on a PC or uploaded to
another GPS receiver.

If you want to have City Navigator on the 60CSx as it was installed on
the C330 you would have to buy MapSource City Navigator North America
(or wherever) on a DVD, install it to a PC, unlock that to the Unit I.D.
of your 60CSx, and then upload the mapping to a microSD card.

That would give you the same detail as you had on the C330 and are
seeing in the MapSource install on the PC.
