Lost drivers C330 software

| Tried to use Webupdater to check on updates for my C330.
The web updater could not find my C330 in my computer . I finally
reentered my software that came with the unit, and everthing went ok.
Is this something that happens from time to time, or do I have a problem
that may be coming in the future?

| Hello.
It often happens to me with my laptop Compaq.
I have to reinstall the drivers sometimes.
Just point to the place in the windows directory (inf directory, I think)
when the system tells a new hardware have been found. Then all is ok for a
while.
I have a Nüvi660, and it does not happen with this, only when I upload POI
to my friends C330's and other earlier models !
The Compaq is not supposed to work with Windows XP, but I have forced it to
do so ( may be the problem).
I've no such problems with my 2 home computers.
