updating GPSMAP 60CSx

| How do I determine what (1) Unit Software and (2) GPS Chipset Type G
versions I have in my GPSMAP 60CSx? I'd like to avoid installing updates if
it's not necessary since this potentially could lead to trouble. Same type
of info for the eTrex Vista Cx would also be helpful. Thanks.

For both the 60CSx and the Vista Cx:
Main Menu -> Setup -> System -> press MENU -> Software Version.

Switch it on with 'ENTR' held down will give you the software version.
