Nuvi Technical Access Secret?
|
|
|
| Maybe some of you already know about a publicly undocumented feature
available on the Nuvi 350 (and possibly all the Nuvi line) which makes
internal technical information available. Someone posted this "how to" on
another Nuvi forum so I thought it would be of interest here for those who
do not know about this feature.
Here is the procedure:
"Boot up your Nuvi 350. When you get to the opening page, with the
battery meter and the time in the upper right hand corner - press there and
hold for 6-10 seconds. You will then go to pages and pages of technical
information about your Nuvi."
Page by page information can be viewed by pressing the "next" button.
Some internal tests can also be performed. The battery information is
particularly useful.
I hope you find this interesting and maybe useful.
