BMW have been offering Streetpilots and nuvis as standard accessories
for some time. Whether the prices are competitive is another matter.

The day a see an integration between the GPS unit and the car screen
(you figure Ford, BMW and Garmin would learn from the computer
industry) then I will jump from joy.

This doesn't look like a built-in unit. As such, one is going to have to
remove it everytime they are away from the car to keep someone from breaking
in and stealing it.
Seems Ford is resting on their laurels by not being able to integrate the
unit into the dash as Toyota already does to prevent theft.
So Ford - again - is not delivering the goods but Toyota is? Wonder why
they are failing?

| If Garmin is lowering themselves enough to let Ford use them it almost
makes me want to serll my 276c and buy a different brand.
