Hallo

Ich möchte mein Garmin GPS 12 im Auto an den Notebook anschliessen, so dass
mir auf dem Notebook immer meine aktuelle Position (auf einer nützlichen
Karte) angezeigt wird.

Konkret: Ich möchte von der Schweiz nach München fahren.

Meine Frage:

Welches Programm / Software eignet sich besonders gut dazu?

Habt ihr schon eine SWOT Analyse gemacht?

Passende Kabel gibt es bei haids.de, falls Du noch keines hast. Denke
auch an ein Auto-Netzteil fürs Notebook und die passende Halterung im
Auto für alles - es kommt nicht gut wenn bei einem plötzlichen
Bremsmanöver das Notebook irgendwo einschlägt.

Hi.
I am sorry to perhaps disapoint you, but the only program which I know of
that takes maps and GPS 12 + PC is OziExplorer. It will be rather expensive
to download all the maps you need for your trip (and maybe the maps aren't
made). But go to OziExplores homesite and investigate. (For Norway all the
maps are made and can be downloaded at a prise of about 15 euros/map.)

wenn du eine gescannte Karte dieses Gebietes hast, geht das gut mit Gartrip.
Die Funktion "aktuelle Position" holt ständig die aktuelle Position beim
GPS12 ab und markiert sie auf der Karte. Die Karte wird, sobald nötig, auch
entsprechend verschoben. Gartrip ist Shareware und hat auch eine deutsceh
Oberfläche, sieh www.gartrip.de/index_d.htm
