audio player controls.

| I have started to use the audio player on the Garmin Nuvi 350. I was
surprised that the onlu forward and back controls move by chapters (or
tracks I guess) and there was no simple rewind and fast forward. I hope that
there will be software updates to improve the controls - it is not adequate
to force a "rewind" of several minutes to repeat the last few seconds!
am I missing the controls or are they absent?

My complaint about the player is the lack of a "Stop" button.
They don't apear to have put much thought or effort into the player.

Two things. If you press PAUSE, the player starts again a few seconds back
when it starts again. (tap pause a few times to rewind 10 seconds)
Next, you can HOLD the back or forward button to fast forward or rewind -
gets faster as you hold it.

thanx - my garmin did not come with a printed manual - I had to download it
and I had forgotten I had done so - I checked the instructions and (blush)
there it was - exactly as you said.
thanx again

Why isn't there a Stop button, or have I missed someything?
If I pause the song and leave the screen in the middle of a song and
go back to the map, there is an icon on thre screen showing that the
mp3 player is still on.
The only way I have found to get rid of that icon is to re-open the
player and let the song finish, or re-start the Nuvi.
Must be a better way...
