I'm sorta confused. I have the Garmin C330 with City Navigator North
America NT Version 8 on it.

What does MetroGuide North America do? Is it just the add on for PC
to allow routing and such on the PC for upload to the 330?

Is it for use on laptops and PCs. The maps it uploads to autorouting
GPS receivers will not autoroute. Here is a link to a great site I
found the other day, it has a very good explanation of the differences
in the different levels of routing provided by MetroGuide, City Select,
and City Navigator.

Taken from the top down, that is a great site for anyone that has a
StreetPilot 2610.
