Garmin GPS - memory = full and route waypoint memory = full

I'm getting 2 messages from Garmin 360: memory full and route waypoint
memory full. Consequently, it doesn't navigate and can't do anything
except the bluetooth. I tried to find out the solution to the problem
in the owner's manual and tech support FAQs with no luck. I would
appreciate if anyone out there can help me so I can use my Garmin 360
again.

First backup all routing waypoints to your computer then delete them from
your Nuvi. Then on the computer separate waypoints per route into separate
files that can be uploaded to your Nuvi as needed. Also, you may want to
check and backup/delete other unneeded content in saved junk (ie: music, or
other entertainment).
