Author SD Card is an SD Card... for Nuvi 350

I see that I can buy a SanDisk 1GB SD Secure Digital Card Manufacturer
Part# SDSDB-1024-A10 for about $50 from Circuit City and other vendors.

Is there any reason this will not work in a nuvi350? Any reason I have
to pay Garmin $100 for half as much memory?

No reason at all why it won't work. BTW, I just bought a 4-pack of 512 mb
"Impact" SD cards for $39.95 from Wal-Mart Canada. Ten bucks each ain't all
that bad either!

I use 2GB SD Cards I got off of eBay. They work just fine, and if you
try hard, you can get them for a great price. Can't beat the 2GB's if
you use MP3's or audio books.

I bought a PNY 2G at Staples for $60, seems to work fine.

I don't know about the Nuvi 350, but the Nuvi660 supports a 4GB Card

I use a 4gb SD card in my Nuvi 350. Works fine with the latest
Nuvi software version.
