Nuvi 350 Waypoint Folder

| In my Nuvi there is a folder:
\Garmin\Waypoints
There is nothing in it. I started a route and looked again, still nothing.
What is this and can it be used for something?

Do you have any Favorites saved? If not save one of those and it might
be in there, those are what would otherwise normally be called a waypoint.
Garmin seems to be trying to wean their users away from the some of the
classic terms. That is about the third or fourth new name they have
come up with for waypoints.

Interesting Jack. I've seen people refer to favorites and
had no clue what they were referring to. What the heck is
wrong with just callin' them waypoints? (rhetorical question)

I have favorites stored but they are not in this folder. Don't see them
anywhere else for that matter.
Garmin seems to aggregate "everything" into one file and save that. For
example, when I load POIs they end up as one file on the gps regardless
of how many source .csv files I start with.

I have the 350. I looked at the Nuvi storage and I was unable to find a
"Waypoint" folder. There is no mention of "Waypoint" in the manual.
Did you attempt to upload "waypoints" from your Mapsource program to your
Nuvi?

Nope. I did not add the folder, it was just there.
