How record long tracks on a Garmin GPS 60CSx with a 2GB SD card

| I have a Garmin GPS 60CSx and i have a problem with the Tracks
recording. I have buy a SD card of 2GB to replace the 64kb SD card
received with the GPS. What i like is record track for long period
(4-5 weeks with a position every 15 seconds). When i go in "Main Menu"
-> "Tracks" after only 11 hours of track recording the "Percent of
memory used" is already full at 25%. I suppose that this is the
internal memory of the GPS ? Note that I have activate the option
"Log track to Data Card" in "Setup" -> "Data card setup"; and the
memory bar on this screen (Data Cards tracks) is "0%" used (that is
correct because is the memory bar of the 2GB SD card). My question is:
How register long tracks on the SD ? When the internal memory of the
GPS (I suppose 1Mb) is full what appends ? If i activate the option
"Wrap when full" it clear also the file registered on the 2GB SD ?
Thank you in advance for your help.

That percentage is only the track memory, it will go to 99% and stay
there if you don't clear it. If you have the "wrap" feature turned on,
it will start overwriting the oldest trackpoints in track memory at 100%
of capacity. If you do not have the "wrap" turned on, I think (but I'm
not sure) that it simply quits logging trackpoints to track memory.

Right, it shows the percentage of the space used on the microSD card. I
consider that an indicator of how much space is available for storing
the *.gpx files on the card.

With the Log Track to Data Card on, and "wrap" on, it continues to add
trackpoints to the *.gpx file as long as the GPS is on and has a fix.
It will close the file and start a new one for the new UTC day.
I've tested that a little by collecting points at one second intervals
and have collected something like 16,000 or 18,000 trackpoints in one
*.gpx file. The points were in a number of segments but they were all
there and in sequence.
I have not tested to see if that behavior is the same with the "wrap"
turned off. I need to do that though.
I think you should test it but it looks to me like, with those settings,
that GPS will continue to collect trackpoints as long as there room on
the microSD card and you should be good for days or even weeks. Is that
not a wonderful thing?

I have wrap on and have three months worth of tracks on my 512MB card
and it's using very little of the card. I just looked at about 20 days
worth and the biggest was about 500KB.
