| In the user manual, it say the Rocker Key can be used to move the Panning
Arrow on the map page in the up, down , left and right direction as
indicated by the four white arrow points on the key.
For those of you who have not yet discovered it, it is possible, with
practise, to move the Panning Arrow diagonally if you press the Rocker Key
between the arrow points.
In fact, this is shown, along with useful information, on the
test/diagnostics page.
At your own risk, enter the test/diagnostics page, from the off state, by
first holding down the Enter Key followed by simultaneously holding down
the Power Button to turn on the unit. You can then test that all the
keys/buttons respond. Switch the unit off as usual by holding down the Power
Key.

All Garmins have a similar test page, and most of the ones I've used
with a rocker (Legend, 60 and 76 series) respond to diagonal movement.
