Author Can I move POI files and save them to load later?

I have several *.poi files in my Zumo POI folder.

If I use Garmin's "POI Loader" it deletes them saying I need to reload them
to use again.

Can't I just drag them out of the Zumo POI folder onto my computer and avoid
deleting them with the POI Loader (which seems to only like *.csv and *.gpx
files)?

That way I could return them later to the Zumo's POI folder rather than
using the POI Loader.

Tia.
