Author Nuvi 370 Pictures Won't Go Away!

I have deleted the .jpg files I added. I have even tried a reset (finger
in the top right corner of screen when starting.) Nothing works! The
Pictures are still there. Also, my favorites are still there. Am I doing
something wrong?
