| Greetings All,
I just purchased a Garmin Streetpilot C340. Really like the unit but the
volume is a bit low even when turned up high. On the first few volume bars
I can't even hear the unit. Only at the max or one from max can I hear. Is
this normal for this unit? I have a few days before I can take it back and
was wondering if anyone else had this same problem?

| I keep mine turned up all the way but have no trouble hearing it.

I have a C320 which more than likely is like yours. I have to turn the
volume down a little to carry on conversation in the car. I would return
and exchange yours for another if possible.

| I have the C330 and find the volume to be more than adequate in my regular
sedan, even with the sunroof open. When closed, I keep the volume down
several steps from max.
I would check out another one before your exchange policy expires.
I am anxious though to see how it works with my convertible.
