I find it difficult, in hilly terrain, to pick out roads using TOPO GB I
accept that TOPO is essentially a topographical map however it would be very
helpful if roads were just a bit more obvious rather than just thin grey
lines merging into the contour lines, Is there a way for roads to be made a
bit easier to see? Is there, perhaps, a setting I could alter?

It is possible to load TOPO map together with a streetmap, i.e. Metroguide
or City Navigator, that is made transparant with transp_2A.exe
