Installing POIs via SD card, c330

| I downloaded some POI files from POI Factory and used Garmin's POI
Loader to load them to an SD card. I stuck the card into the slot of
my c330 and... nothing happened. There was no indication that it even
saw that a card has been inserted.
How do I know if it took them? Does it take them and write them to the
internal storage, or do I need to leave the card in the slot to use
them? Are they merged into the exitint categories, or do they create
new ones?
A couple of them are supposed to show me toll booths in NH. With the
card inserted, I went through one and the unit did not show any
indication that it knew there was a toll there.

I will build machines which simply fail when overloaded, rather than
wipe out all nearby henchmen in an explosion or worse yet set off a
chain reaction. I will do this by using devices known as "surge
protectors".

| First off, I don't own a 330, but I do own a 320. Even with the 330,
the POIs are stored in internal memory. The SD card is to load
additional maps, as far as I know.
To make the 'toll booths' come up on screen from a Custom POI, you
need to create a POI with a proximity alarm attached. Custom POIs do
not show up on the map view. Instructions for proximity alarms are in
the help files in the POILoader program.

The POI loader gave me the option to load onto an SD card. I'll try
again connecting the c330 directly via the USB cable.

This is one of the entries in the toll booth POI file:
-70.841275,43.13670278,Spaulding Tpk Rte 16 Dover Toll EZ Pass@15
If I'm reading the docs correctly, it should warn me as I'm approaching
the toll. If it's installed correctly, that is... :)
Something that isn't explained in the docs... it says that the alert
distance is calculated as:
Prompt Distance = 36 seconds * Speed
Now... is that MY speed, or the speed limit noted in the POI entry?
