Nuvi doesn't show street number

| I discovered a very annoying 'fault' in my Nuvi 660 this week. Needing
to deliver something to a house some 150km away, I entered the address
(house number, street, town) in my Nuvi and off I went. Knowing I had
the info entered in the Nuvi I didn't take any other record of the
address.
Arriving at the street, Nuvi announced as it usually does - arriving at
xxxx on right.
Knowing that Nuvi uses a math formulea for determining the location of
house numbers, and not remembering the house number, I brought up the
address in my favourites to check. Bugger. Nothing I did would coax
Nuvi into revealing the house number that I had entered. It would show
me the Street, Town, State, and fortunately the phone number that I had
luckily entered.
And so there was a happy ending - I rang the person and obtained the
house number - Nuvi had brought me very close to the address, only half
a house away.
Are all Nuvi like this?
Also, another annoying 'trait' of the Nuvi is that when I enter an
address, save it and enter a name, there is no provision for entering a
phone number. To do that, after finishing entering the name and adress
data, I have to then call up that favourite, choose edit, then select
change phone number in order to enter a phone number. Bloody annoying
as I like to include a phone number with most of my favourites as I use
Nuvi as a hands free bluetooth phone in conjuction with my bluetooth
equipped mobile. It would also be great if I could store 2 numbers -
home phone and mobile.
I love Nuvi, but why they allowed such silly faults in the software in
beyond my understanding

If you would have looked in the recently found places it would have
shown the address if you looked it up before.

I believe so.

| Yes thanks, that brings up the POI quickly, but it still only shows the
street, not the house number.

Further to my previous post re this issue, I find that if I enter an address
(house No, street, suburb/town, state) that is in the Sydney metropoloitan
area the full address does show when I recall it as a favourite - ie it does
show the house number I entered.
But if I do the same thing with an address in Wagga (largest inland town in
NSW) the house number is not shown when I recall that location from the
favourites list. Same with all the country towns I did this test on.
However, when I look up the POIs that some preinstalled on the Nuvi (eg look
up a shop/fuel site in Wagga) a full adress is shown.
Pretty weird, and damned annoying as I tend to load adresses into the Nuvi
before leaving home - and now I find I also have to take a paper copy with
me and keep that in the car. Bugger.
