Garmin (Quest) - How to insert characters in a waypoint name?

On my Quest (same problem as other Garmins I would assume), supposed I
misspell a waypoint ('Maybery Junction' instead of 'Mayberry Junction'). Is
there a way to be able to insert the extra 'r' via the soft keyboard when
editing the name? I can't seem to find it, ergo I end up having to type the
entire rest of the character string. (Google and the instruction book both
come up lame on this....)
